Rover P4 60 1959 First registered keeper in May 1959 no less than The Countess of Sandwich of Hinchingbrooke House Huntingdon, as I’m sure many of you historians will know is the famous Montagu family. Supplied new from Murketts of Huntingdon (Rover Agents) and still retains its local registration number along with the day one old style buff log book. There is no question that the 60 is so much lighter on the steering with the reduced engine weight, better fuel consumption, and was only a couple of miles per hour different from the 75 when new. Having owned many variants over the years I find this model the most enjoyable to drive offering ample performance when needed.A fantastic survivor largely due to the fact it was dry stored for a number of years, then more recently re-commissioned to include new Avon tyres, hoses, brake overhaul, stainless exhaust, and a very thorough servicing complete the picture. The Rover is blessed with what can only be described as the most incredible original upholstery for a car of this age that we have seen in a long time, irreplaceable and clearly never abused all makes for a most enjoyable driving experience behind the wheel.Superb deep shine to the black coachwork with no signs of any welding or repairs on the car whatsoever. Rock solid and clean one the underside, sweet running engine, smooth gears with all clear oils and fluids present. All factory tools intact with spare wheel tucked away under the boot. Comes with the original day one buff long book and current V5c, owners handbook, plus a selection of old MOTs and invoices. Low recorded miles and is absolutely on the button ready for immediate use.Length 14ft 8in Width 5ft 5inDEBIT/ Credit/ Cards taken.Delivery/ Service/ Available please ask.
