1984' Rover Sd1

Rover sd1 vdp carb, 5 speed manual that has had thousands spent on it over the last two years.

10 months mot.

Has had a new interior fitted to match the paint colour that was changed by a previous owner. Interior was light blue. It is now dark blue as is the dash and carpet.

Polybushed, K&N filter internals, refurbished wheels, new rear brake lines and handbrakes cable, new rear brake shoes and cylinders and all accessories. Spax adjustable shocks. Vitesse springs/ride height. Vitesse brake system including lines, pressure reducing valve, 4 pot calipers and vented discs, new clutch master cylinder, new thermostat, Radiator, oil and filter, new rear silencer, new tailgate struts, new leads, plugs, smaller round steering wheel (still have original) more than I can remember to be honest.

Had repairs carried out last year to a very high standard by Upminister Classics of which i have pictures including a repair to floorpan and the sill. After this work it passed an MOT with no advisories. I can send dozens of pictures of the car in all stages from purchase, all work completed and all items added.


There are no other serious issues with the car other than it would benefit from a respray as it has faded over the years and has some age related marks here and there and also the rear inner lip of the arches isnt perfect. The arches themselves and all around are strong and good but the lips are not the best hence purchasing the new arch repair sections.
Has series one clear indicators, vitesse spoilers, manual sunroof.

Engine is lovely and quiet and pulls well,some 3.5 v8s are really tired, this one isnt, it was fairly low mileage having been owned by an elderly gentlemen that didnt use it much along with his P6. Gearbox is very good as are all brakes that are less than 12 months old.

Comes with spares like 4 branch headers, brand new rear arch panels (very rare) as intended to have them fitted when a respray was completed and other items ive gathered over the last couple of years.

With a respray this car could easily be a show winner. It could just as easily be left as it is as when polished and waxed up she looks lovely. Its mx5 blue.

Insurance cost me £117 with adrian flux. Cheap!
