1947 Singer 9A Roadster in amazing "survivor" condition, with much of the original 75 year old paintwork intact and one family owned up until about 5 years ago. This car now has a 1098cc Morris Minor drivetrain installed as there were problems with oil and water mixing in the original. The MM conversion has a rebuilt engine and gearbox, and custom made rad and propshaft. I have ALL the original parts if anyone wanted to put it back to factory spec. Front seat bases have been reupholstered in leather, the rest of the leather interior is original. Hood, tonneau and sidescreens are excellent replacements. Very reluctant sale due to impending loss of storage. Viewing in Hastings, East Sussex. Chassis and wooden body frame are all very good. Much of the outer bodywork is aluminium so no rot. There are a few minor cracks to alloy panels as with every Singer I've ever seen and the inevitable dings of 75 years of use. The only parts that have been repainted are the running boards after a bit of rot was cut out and new steel welded in. Parts of the car had been hand painted, but most of this has been stripped back to the original paintwork and clear coated where necessary.
