Body: Sports Car

This is really rare! When was the last time you saw a Stutz Blackhawk? We, of course, do not mean the modern variation that enjoyed a big reputation as Elvis Presley’s last car, but the pre-war car we have here. This is still a proper Stutz, from the time Stutz made sports cars with a thick straight-eight cylinder engine. For its time it was a particularly fast car. It held its own on the Bonneville salt planes. This 1927 model was brought over to the Netherlands by its previous owner in 2007. The enormous eight cylinder develops 97 Ps, giving this Stutz a most alluring performance for a nearly 100 year old car. This is a most charming car. The bodywork has a lovely patina and the interior is also in very good shape considering its age. The quality of the paintwork is good and naturally the bodywork and chassis are rust-free. The engine runs well and transmission shifts gear with precision. This is motoring as it was intended to be: Hard work to keep it on track whilst speeding ahead! You simply cannot compare the experience enjoyed in driving a pre-war car with any modern car. Every mile is an exhilarating experience and in this case enormously enhanced with this American model. In short a wonderful Stutz Blackhawk with matching charisma and drive!
