Seller's comments about 1967' Sunbeam Alpine Series 5 Gt

Forest Green Sunbeam Alpine Series V GT. Owned for 22 years and has now been on the road for 14 years after an eight year restoration by myself fully documented with photos. Nearly every panel replaced and the front lead loaded as original, professionally repainted with two pack paint although there are some blemishes on the paint now. 1725cc engine was rebuilt when the car was being restored but is not the original so the numbers don't match although I do have the original in bits. The car now has an overdrive gearbox and the overdrive unit was rebuilt about 1500 miles ago and while the box was out the flywheel was fitted with a new ring gear, skimmed and a new clutch went back in. All the trim was renewed and a wire wheel kit was fitted it also had new rear leaf springs fitted and all the front suspension was rebuilt with poly bushes. We have all the MOTs and bills from when it was restored and the car has just passed the MOT test although when the tax is renewed the car can be re-registered as a VHI and then it won't need an MOT.

Please be aware this car is a GT so does not have a folding soft top roof but has the removable factory steel hard top.
