Seller's comments about 1971' Triumph 1500

1971 TRIUMPH 1500 SALOONONLY 19, 000 MILES FROM NEW ULEZ EXEMPTFinished in Monza White with its original unmarked black trim. Only 19, 000 miles from new, last on the road in 2003. Having been off the road for 22 years a full recommission was carried out which included a repaint in its original Monza White, engine removed to detail at which time a new clutch was fitted. The cylinder head removed to flush out and check engine condition. A full suspension and brake overhaul a new water pump was fitted. All coolant and fuel rubber pipes were replaced with new.First registered in December 1971 the first MOT in the file was March 1997 at 13, 341 miles, another MOT in 1995 at 14, 487 and the last one at 15, 809 in March of 1999. Now only covered 19, 608 miles and comes with a fresh MOT, handbook and old MOTs.Ready for the road again after 22 years of slumber.The 1500 was an evolution of the Triumph 1300, (we also have a Triumph 1300 in stock), featuring a restyled nose with quad headlights and a longer, squared-off tail to provide a larger boot.We took this charming Triumph 1500 with us to the NEC Classic Car show, further photos to follow when we have a dry day.Established in 1972 Kim Cairns is a family run business offering a wealth of experience and professionalism.
