1949' Triumph 2000 Roadster 2000

I have owned this Roadster 2000 since 1982 after which it had a total body off restoration and more recently has had a new mohair hood and hood cover, some new chrome-work, new suspension parts and new shock absorbers, new brakes, new brake-servo, new tyres, stainless steel exhaust, lumenition electronic ignition and LED front and rear daytime running lights.
The chassis is in excellent condition.
This car drives very smoothly and can be confidently driven anywhere. The brakes are very good and the steering is very light and positive. There is a very effective heater
There is a full complement of tools as original. The spare wheel has got a mohair cover.
The dickey seat side screens and hood are unique to this car and were years ago designed and made by me so that we could go off for the day with our two children and not worry if it started to rain.
The reason that I have decided to sell this car is that I would like to experience the ownership of one or two other cars before I get too old. In particular a Daimler Dart SP250, a Triumph GT6 Hurricane or even an interesting restoration project etc.
I have got other classic cars and tend not to use the Roadster as much these days.
I have reduced the price to encourage a deal.
