1972' Triumph 2.5 Pi

First Registered January 1972. Has the original Lucas PI kit on it (and it works). Bought the Car July 2012 to save it from being sold to enter a wreckers race. It was far to good for that. Electronic Ignition, New HT Leads, Dizzy cap and fuel filter fitted. Fitted Rear Seat Belts. New Piston Rings fitted, big ends, mains and thrust washers replaced together with Oil Pump 2 years ago and new gaskets. . New Superflex Bushes on trailing arms fitted 2 years ago. Starter Motor reconditioned professionally Summer last year and new clutch plate, Clutch Cover, cover fitting, release bearing fitted July last year put in. New speedo right angle drive being put on within the next week or so (when I get time off work!) or will take it to local garage. Took it to Yorkshire Triumphs August 2015 who welded and repaired offside sill and front outrigger / chassis, Plated two small holes in near side sill fitted new inserts in front struts, 2 new brake pipes fitted. New clutch slave cylinder fitted together with new drive shaft gaiters. MOTtill September 2017. Mechanically its good, tyres good. bodywork is not bad although there is room for improvement. I did have the car re-sprayed 3 years ago, this was more for protection than anything else. Colour is Damson. Replacement Triumph Tan seats fitted 2 years ago with matching door cards. It is an original manual overdrive car with the correct A Type overdrive and works perfectly I will put photos on this week. Front Carpets knackered. Car is Garaged in Saddleworth
