Seller's comments about 1971' Triumph Herald 13/60
What a great opportunity this little Triumph is!
Offered as a non running project this 1971 Triumph Herald 13/ 60 convertible was subject to an early restoration, driven for a while then parked in 2008 in a dry garage.
Condition wise the car is certainly saveable- there are some areas of rust (please see pictures) but on the whole the chassis looks solid. The body work is similar, some obvious areas of rust but on the whole good. The interior needs a deep clean but is all there, seats are in good condition with a spare one thrown in for good measure. There is also a Haynes manual included to help you put it back together again. The white roof has no holes and looks to be good.
Mechanically we have not tried to start the car but the engine turns by hand and was reportedly rebuilt not long before the car was put into storage. It rolls freely and the handbrake works.
This is a great hobby car to learn how to restore a car. Parts are easily available and when done you'll have a charming and easy to drive 1970's British convertible.
The car is currently at our pondside showroom in Beaulieu. We can deliver this car for a fee.
