1973 Triumph Spitfire Mk IV, MOT Tax Exempt 1973 MK4 Triumph Spitfire MKIV Red, original Colour Purple 1296cc 63 Horsepower 4 Speed Manual Twin SU CarbsAs you can see from the pictures this is not a fully restored show queen, however this is totally solid example that is running and driving really well. The engine starts easily and runs really well pulling through all gears without fault. In fact it feels really lively I suspect quite a few of the original 63 horses are still present.Conditions wise the paintwork is scruffy and off coloured, it is not, not rusty. This car can be enjoyed as it is without having to worry about getting it damaged etc or could be a brilliant base for a rolling restoration. The history files has a few old MOT’s and a copy of an old V5 revealing that it lived in Blackpool from 1975. It is extremely well priced to allow for all options and I expect to sell it very quickly at this price and to top it off it is supplied with a hard top which must be worth £500 on it's.
