Seller's comments about 1974' Triumph Spitfire
A fully restored 1974 Triumph Spitfire 1500 will meet the requirements of the most demanding collector.
The British Racing Green color with the red upholstery creates an extremely beautiful duo. Black soft top roof.
The car was restored in 2015 in the Netherlands at a workshop specializing in this field. In 2017, it went to a wealthy family in Germany. Unfortunately, the new owner did not have time to enjoy it for long because he died soon after. The car sat in the garage for a while until the widow decided to sell it. This is how Triumph came into my hands in April 2022.
I have full documentation of the renovation process from the moment of purchasing the base, through demolition, regeneration, assembly to the current state. Many parts are new, original, purchased only in authorized stores. I have invoices for all replaced components, even the smallest gaskets and screws. In addition, I have a flash drive with photos showing the entire renovation process, as well as a commemorative album in the form of a book with photos of the process.
In addition, the car underwent an expert opinion in Germany at an independent facility specializing in the assessment of the condition of classic cars and received notes in the highest ranges (attached in the photos).
A vehicle registered in PL as a historic monument, ready to drive at any time, starts "with an arrow". New battery.
Why am I selling? I do not have the conditions for storage, I need extra space in the garage where Triumph is currently parked. I do not want to rent an additional garage all year round to enjoy several trips in the season, it is not economical for me, hence the decision. For collectors who have a place to store the vehicle, it is a real treat.
