The car was renovated 10 years ago by Faversham Classics in the UK. They had a customer who wanted a Stag for his holiday in home in Spain so they converted one to Left Hand drive, so completely new steering gear. At the same time they changed the gearbox to a jaguar 4 speed auto, new suspension bushes and most importantly a full bare metal respray ( colour was changed from brown to carmine red. The engine had been repaired ( new heads) earlier in the life of the Stag. The owner decided that he had spent to much money and sold the car to myself. The car was first registered in october 1977 and has a genuine 64600miles on the clock. Since then I have used the car for one holiday per year and local drives when it is not raining. The car is not concurs condition as it has a few marks on the paintwork but it is completely rust free, the engine has an original cooling system ( standard radiator, water pump and viscous fan) but has never run hot so I have left it like this. The soft top had a small tear in it which has been repaired. There is also a hard top, although not quite the same quality as the rest of the car. The car is based in Normandy, France and I am looking for 20k€ or nearest offers.
