1960 Triumph TR3A. This UK registered car has been owned by me since 1976. A ground up rebuild was carried out over a number of years and finally completed in May 2002. The TR has been on the road ever since and to date has covered 12389 miles of roof down enjoyment.
Included in the extensive restoration work are rebuilt uprated original engine, modified Revington front suspension, rack and pinion steering, uprated brakes together with restored body shell using original and replacement panels, re-trimmed interior with mohair hood and tonneau cover. Gearbox replaced by rebuilt TR4A overdrive unit (still have the original gearbox).
The modifications made to the car have greatly improved the drivability of the TR over standard and I have been pleased with the resulting reliability and pleasure had on both long and short journeys over the years.
History file including TR Register Trace certificate, invoices and photographs of restoration.
