Seller's comments about 1964' Triumph TR4

This U. K. home market RHD Triumph TR4 was first registered on the 10th April 1964 and has had just three owners from new. Still retaining its original valuable registration mark 4427 KP, the TR has come to us from its Cornwall based owner of almost seven years.This is an interestingly opportunity, the car can be described as a light project requiring some ‘fettling' but it has some impressive features to an include a superbly presented, body colour underside that is structurally outstanding. The car comes with an old 1984 tax disc and it's clear it has had a home restoration that the most recent owner planned to complete when he purchased the car in 2019. A notebook documents lots of work between 2005 and 2010 with many new parts fitted to the car. Since purchase in 2019, the owners schedule didn't allow completion of the project, and therefore the car has come to us as a running, driving car requiring some re-commissioning.The bodywork is extremely solid throughout, the underside impressive and all the body panels in structurally excellent order. The paint finish is of average quality as is the interior but it's all there offering great potential. With some light re-commissioning to the fuel system, stripping and cleaning brakes and some light cosmetic improvements, within a couple of weeks this could be a fabulous, usable car ready for some enjoyable classic motoring. This is a fantastic entry level TR4 that we are selling as a good value light project for someone to take on. Please note the correct windscreen frame is also with the car.
