This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show 2026 on Saturday the 21st of March - Sunday the 22nd of March, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT.Entering production in 1961, the new TR4 was a wonderful mix of British brawn and Italian styleSharp new bodywork did away with the TR3's cutaway doors to allow for wind-down windowsThe torquey four-cylinder, twin-carb TR3 engine was enlarged to 2, 138cc and mated to an all-synchro 4-speed gearboxThe later TR4A, as offered here, debuted in 1965 and introduced an all-new independent rear suspension system (IRS)This is an original UK-supplied 1965 TR4A with overdrive, first registered on 26/ 05/ 1965 and indicating 70, 208 miles at the time of cataloguingIn the same family (husband and wife) ownership for over 30 years with four former registered keepersVery presentable in Signal Red over black interior with a good soft topUsed last year to go to various classic car shows but not much recent use so may require some light recommissioning Professional photography to follow.
