1968' Triumph TR5

This Triumph TR5 was bought as a restoration in 2013 and has subsequently been treated to a total restoration which has included a new body tub and chassis. The end result is a car that is completely restored with a body that has not had had any repairs and an as new chassis. The interior has been treated to two new non original leather seats for added comfort and the dashboard and door caps have walnut fascias fitted. New interior trim was fitted including new carpets.

The mechanics of the car have also been done with the engine stripped down for a full rebuild. A new wiring loom was also fitted.The restoration was completed in 2014/15 and the car has done only limited miles since. The car shows good oil pressure as you would expect and runs cleanly and drives exceptionally well.

There is a brand new Surrey soft top along with a hard top.

The history file contains miscellaneous invoices relating to the restoration including the body tub and chassis. There are also lots of photographs detailing the restoration process. The car has an advisory free MOT which expires in September 2019.

This is a well sorted TR5 that has been fully restored and should provide many years of fun motoring.
