1974' Triumph TR6

Here is an extremely nice 1974
Triumph TR6 Roadster in the very pretty Correct Pimento Red with a striking
presentation, correct Chestnut bucket seated interior that has recent upgrading,
both colors are ‘as factory’ produced, this British sports car has a great
history of the well-known Baker Motor Car Company from Atlanta where the
car still resides today, this very rare 1974 Triumph TR6 Roadster has lots of
the original documents…the actual original Window Sticker, copy of the
Bill of Sale and the original Data Tag, original Owner’s Manual…
this writer drove for the Baker team at Daytona and Sebring, Jim Baker and his
top notch GM Chuck Reynolds were serious car people, this unmolested straight
body and very solid underchassis has had just great maintenance and caregiving
for many years in Atlanta, this TR6 features the original 2.5 liter, 6
cylinder, great engine even compression, all the numbers are shown later in
this report, full tune and professional set up are accomplished by our top
British tech, 4-speed transmission without overdrive, the rear end with this
transmission is higher geared than the overdrive and just the best for exciting
fun driving, the performance of this Atlanta TR6 is really one of the best that
Fraser Dante has ever had, the last owner really wanted to enjoy his car, this
was really a Driven Show car where the car was found, now then arrived at
Fraser Dante and is now brought up to the next even higher standards with the
fresh mechanicals and then the cosmetic level…the terrific underchassis is just
really outstanding along with the superior frame, both just show detailed in
the Fraser Dante shop on the lift for many hours of prep, brand new just
installed expensive black reflector top ‘as factory’, truly a real Atlanta TR6,
has the original now restored factory wheels with the trim rings, new red center caps and lug nuts, now
just fitted are the brand new expensive Hankook Kinergy ST radial tires
just balanced and installed, very hard to find such a very nice exceptional
very solid unmolested underchassis, just outstanding body with very straight
lines, just professional high speed buffed, truly driven show quality with
really nice ‘eyes’, has a tool kit with spare, this had the original factory
wood dash when received, now is fully restored ‘in house’ and just looks great,
see the clean look with the bumpers without overriders…has many original parts
and equipment were on the car from new and now updates done with engine, brakes
and the final buffing and polishing accomplished for a nice look ready for
Summer 2020 motoring, a top #2 Driven Show car
