1974' Triumph TR6

Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1974 Triumph TR6. Finished in the attractive and original shade of Sapphire Blue, this TR6 was purchased locally by the current Atlanta owner in 1987. Nice paint quality over a straight and rust-free body. Bumpers, trim and factory wheels are original and showing light patina. Coker Classic redline tires. Newer convertible top. Underside is in good original un-restored condition - while there is surface rust as you would expect, we cannot find any rot and there is no evidence of accident damage or prior rust repair. Interior is tidy with carpets, door panels, seat upholstery, dash and convertible boot cover all in good condition. Gauges are clear and working and all lights work as they should. Under the bonnet is a 2.5 liter inline six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt under present ownership in the late 1980s around 114k miles. Additional service within the last 1,000 miles has included a complete brake system and suspension overhaul, Pertronix electronic ignition, rebuilt carbs and a new battery. This TR6 starts easily and runs and drives well - the straight six is torquey and smooth and the gearbox feels good with no crunchy synchros.
