Seller's comments about 1979' Triumph TR7

This former three-time National Concours winning Triumph TR7 is a car we know very well having supplied it to its recent keepers. DNY 444V is a RHD Home Market car, built on the 26-28th February 1979 leaving the factory finished in Carmine Red with Red/ Black interior trim. It was first supplied by Howells Garage Ltd in Cardiff with five-speed gearbox, sundym tinted glass, inertia reel seat belts and heater. The TR7 comes with a comprehensive history file that includes the original owner’s manual, TR7 brochure, old V5’s, MOT certificates back to 10, 000 recorded miles, restoration photo records plus the cars’ original chassis plate, and factory under bonnet British Leyland stickers. The TR7 has had just seven owners from new, the first owner from 1979 to 1988, the second owner a lady in Cardiff from 1988-1990 and from 1990 to 2002 with its third owner. In 2002 the TR7 was purchased and then put through a major restoration to show winning standard, picking up the National Concours three times. It stayed with this owner from 2002 to 2018 and then an owner in the Newark area. The Triumph came to us in 2021 for the first time, and we supplied the TR to one of our regular customers here in Yorkshire. DNY444V comes back to our showroom from the second local customer we supplied the car to having enjoyed the car for the last 4 years alongside his beautiful Stag. The TR7 has arrived back to us with a mileage believed genuine of around 51500 and since restoration the car has covered in the region of 23, 500 miles. DNY 444V has arrived in exceptional condition, it's a beautiful older restoration and we can see why it was winning prizes. The car has a superb bodyshell, lovely paint finish and a delightful interior. The engine bay has been finished to an excellent standard and importantly the car is structurally exceptional. The Triumph has a strong engine in excellent condition, smooth five-speed gearbox and has been incredibly maintained. This is a fantastic driving car, and with pages of pages of maintenance invoices we can see the car has maintained with no expense spared. This is a gorgeous car, one we’ve known for many years and are sure won't disappoint.
