1973' Volkswagen Beetle 1303 S Super Beetle Custom

Here we have a truly custom car.

I was commissioned to build a 1973 1303S super beetle sleeper with a Porsche 944 2,5l engine, gearbox and running gear, in addition the electrics and interior are all Porsche (black leather and flock interior)

unfortunately the customer could not pay the required bill so the finished car has remained in my name.

The cambelt and engine have just been renewed and serviced ready for the new owner as I just do not have the space to store it any longer. The car is started every day and moved in and out of the workshop.

The wings have all been widened to accommodate the wider Porsche offset and 928 wheels and the exhaust pipe are the only thing that differentiates this from a beetle. The bodyshell was strengthened with box section and the car retains the original beetle chassis number for inspection.

I welcome viewers as this car needs a new owner who will appreciate it and im sure it deserves to be shown in magazines and shows.

It does have odd marks from storage and a couple of rust spots that need attention on the body
