Seller's comments about 1949' Volkswagen Beetle
July 49 standard black beetle.
Matching body and chassis. It spent many years in Eastern Europe so there is some make do and mend on this car but they did tend to repair the original if possible. Virtually complete this is a standard small fuel tank, bolt down seat and lever shock car. I have the birth certificate and I've collected many parts for the rebuild. It's a non runner but the engine turns freely.
* Full model correct Beetlekey interior retirim kit. (seat covers, door cards, gloveboxes and headlining)
* New under hood card and glove boxes.
* The engine is 1950 but comes with correct seamed shroud fan housing.
* Brakes are converted to hydraulic but comes with most cable brake parts including pedal cluster.
* Four 16 inch wheels.
Remember, this isn’t a year 50 model. It’s last of the early cars. It's a project, all the hard to find parts are there.
