Seller's comments about 1957' Volkswagen Beetle
This stunning Horizon Blue '57 Oval Beetle, was owned by one family and was a Canadian export sold by one of the first main dealers. To a farmer who kept the car its whole life. It was only on the road for the first 10 year. Then got put away into one of the storage units.
It was discovered by a fella in the UK, who brought it back to England and did a pan off preservation restoration.
The car needed no welding at all and has not had any since it was cleaned up and brought back to life using every original clip bolt and rubber were possible.
Even the wheels are still original paint.
Showing amazing patina, the inside unfortunately was worn so was given to Dillon Cheesy who is renowned for his interior work skill set. So it’s like it’s just left the factory. It’s also a factory standard oval with deluxe beltline trim from new.
