Sales informationThe Volkswagen Beetle 1302 LS Cabriolet was produced in the early 1970s as a more luxurious version of the Beetle. The 1302 appeared in 1970 as the successor to the 1300 and received a longer nose, more luggage space, and a more modern front suspension with McPherson struts. The LS version was equipped with the 1600 cc boxer engine producing approximately 50 hp.The convertible was built by Karmann in Osnabrück and distinguished itself by its beautiful soft top and reinforced bodywork. Production of the 1302 LS Cabriolet was relatively short. In 1972, the 1302 was succeeded by the 1303, which was recognizable by, among other things, its large curved windshield.Today, the 1302 LS Cabriolet is beloved by enthusiasts and collectors, primarily due to its short production run, the 1600 engine, and the combination of the classic Beetle looks with improved engineering. Our 1302 also features a beautiful silver-grey colour, something you rarely see. So the previous owners certainly had good taste. And thanks to their profession, they also knew a thing or two about cars. The last owner, who owned the Beetle for over 15 years, is a spot repair specialist, and the owner before that was a chief mechanic at a VW dealer. The paintwork is immaculate, without dents or damage, and the mohair soft top is like new. The almost indestructible interior is also very neat, and the mechanics are well-maintained. What more could a Beetle Cabriolet enthusiast want? A delightful and reliable car for beautiful drives, making memories with passengers who have plenty of room in the spacious 4-seater convertible. This 1971 Volkswagen Beetle 1302 LS can offer you all of this.
