Seller's comments about 1971' Volkswagen Beetle
A great, solid and presentable car - in attractive metallic blue with early 'pre 1967' styling (sloping headlamps, long engine lid).
Was used regularly up until 2018, but now no longer gets the attention it deserves. With some regret I am selling it to allow room and time to concentrate on other projects…
- Subtly lowered for 'Cal Look', with early 'pre '67' looks
- Full engine rebuild 2 yrs ago (with less than 1, 000 miles added since)
- Re-upholstered seats (in matching blue vinyl)
- Floorpans solid throughout
- Heater channels solid throughout
- Stainless steel bumpers (will never rust)
- Electrically-heated rear window (fitted 2018)
- Twin ‘Webber’ carburettors
- New shock absorbers, chrome trim, hubcaps, fuel pump
