1973' Volkswagen Beetle

One of the last few left in existence and this one is in first class condition.
there were only 2500 genuine gt beetles ever made in three colours and most of whats left are now looked after by genuine enthusiasts.
i am once again cutting down on my vw collection and putting this one on the market.
i bought this car five years ago from a lady and it was her pride and joy but due to health reasons she found it difficult to park not having power steering.
she bought it from a company that specialised in car restoration and previous to them getting the car it had been stored away and not used for 18 years.
the car had a full respray.
in its time with me i have taken out the petrol tank and cleaned and painted all areas at the front, replaced brake pipes and front callipers and brake pads.
the whole of the underside was scraped and wire brushed before painting and the same was done with the internal floor and sound deadening material was used at the rear.
the gear box oil and brake fluid were changed.
new running boards were fitted and some of the wiring was replaced.
the car has been fully sprayed with wax oil.
whoever buys the car will have to personally come and view the car and inspect it or bring a mechanic with them who can do it for them.
payment will be cash or bank transfer and the car will not be released until this is completed.
the last beetle that i sold in the summer of 2020 was bought by an old gentleman who travelled over from northern ireland to view it and then arranged for it to be transported back on a car transporter via holyhead ferry.
the car is available for viewing anytime and is used on a daily basis.
