1957' Volkswagen Beetle Ragtop

1957 Factory ragtop oval original engine sold new to Sweden.
Certificate from VW archives Germany confirming 1200 De Lux sedan in black with sunroof. Sold new to Sweden.

Original body pan never welded. Repainted at some time no rust but poor preparation and although shiny imperfections can be noted. Car repatriated from Spain by T2D in 2012 and sold to TV personality Drew Pritchard ‘Salvage Hunter’. Drew featured the purchase from T2D on Salvage hunter programme series 5 episode 2
The beetle has been upgraded to 12v, fitted with dual circuit brakes and has period engine upgrade.
Dropped front beam, vintage speed exhaust fitted, 4 speed all ‘syncro’ box, new bumpers, carrera headlight grills, repro petri steering wheel.

Nice authenticated rag top sold new to Sweden. You may wait a long time for another authenticated rag top oval especially having flourished in Sweden to come on the UK market. It don't get much better. 07720309678
