A real cracker of a LHD bus, Shipped in from California and then given the g'day treatment.

We stripped the bus down to a bare shell. inspected the bus for rust and then sent it away for a full repaint in its original colour. The pop top roof and bumpers were repainted in pastel white.

Whilst at paint our in house trimmers inspected all of the rear seating and gave this the thumbs up, the front seats were a little tired so we used some original fabric to retrim them. The front cab is in fantastic original condition with the addition of some important gauges and a ipod cd stereo in the dash.

The rear of the bus has had an upgrade with a brand new floor being laid, we then laid some awesome orange and yellow tiles giving this bus the fruit salad look! Once the floor was down we installed the original cabinets which are in fantastic condition, To give them an update we installed some tiles in the cupboards as well as staining the insides of the doors. These Berlins do not come with a stove only a sink so we installed a modern smev stove and sink unit with an extending tap for washing up and cleaning.

upstairs the van has a new pop top canvas, immaculate original roof bed mattresses.

As with all our buses this is mechanically tip top, the 2 litre injected engine was removed and then run up on our inhouse test rig. The results of the engine test were spot on. We painted the engine bay whilst the engine was out as well as changing the fuel sender. Brakes have all been overhauled as has the steering, we have laser tracked the bus and installed a cat 2 immobiliser for safety.

A lovely looking bus and ready to drive away now. If you want make it your own why not have us lower the van for you and stick some alloys on?
