1977 VOLKSWAGEN T2 BAY WINDOW CAMPER VANThe Volkswagen 'Type 2' what's the second major iteration of VW's post war production after the Type 1- 'the people's car' known to the world as The Beetle. The Type 2 was available in variants such as the panel van, pick up and minibus. The Volkswagen Type 2 'Bay Window' (1967–1979) is an iconic, air-cooled, rear-engine campervan known for its large, wraparound front windshield, offering improved visibility over the earlier Split Screen model. This honest example first registered 01/ 08/ 1977 was originally a delivery van but was converted as part of a full & thorough 8-year restoration process that was completed in 2018. Showing just 44263 miles on the clock- it has been in the possession of the current owner since July 2022 and genuine reason for sale being the lack of available time to utilise this fantastic vehicle.!It has had very little use over the past 18 months but is still a first time starter/ runner.
