- Camping vehicle "Sundial" - Completely restored from 2018- 2019 in Germany - Engine performance increased to 80 hp, H- licence plate - Many modifications, such as disc brakes and steering Vehicle history: This Volkswagen T1 Camper was built in the Volkswagen factory in Hanover. The T1 panel van was delivered new to the USA and converted into a camping vehicle by the Sundial company. In 2001, the VW Camper was sold to Ireland and in 2013 the vehicle returned to Germany. In 2018-2019, the car was extensively restored to a very high standard by a specialist company in the Hanover area. No expense or effort was spared in the pursuit of perfection. The bodywork was beautifully restored, the interior completely renewed and all mechanical components overhauled. During the restoration, the original 1600cc engine was optimised and now produces around 80 hp. In line with this, technical upgrades were installed to cope with the additional power and speed potential. The steering gear was improved and replaced by a gear steering system. Disc brakes were fitted to the front axle for additional braking power and safety. This T1 Bulli Camper drives and handles perfectly and is therefore much more fun to drive! This vehicle has the charming appearance, the pizzazz and the necessary safety improvements and immediately arouses the sympathy of passers-by. This unique vehicle has an extensive history file.
