In 2017, the vehicle came to Krakow from Austria, where it underwent complete renovation. Sandblasting of each element, anti-corrosion protection, new paint, preserved chassis, engine renovation with new original parts, new trim on the side panels, new headliner, fully regenerated chrome. After over 2 years of work, the model looks like new. It has full photo documentation, expert opinions, and a certificate of originality "Stiftung AutoMusem Volkswagen".
