VW Beetle 1200 Kafer
Each of us knows the classics of Polish comic books - on the surface a "needle", but underneath... a disappointment. However, the Americans turned this concept upside down in the 1950s, creating the hot rod movement - a layer of rust there can hide a real gem.
Today we present you a European hot rod that proudly tells its story - this is the Volkswagen Käfer "Beetle".
Our friendly Beetle looks tired of life, but a trained eye will quickly notice that it is only an appearance. The lowered suspension and bold rims reveal from the outside that there is something more hidden under the layer of patina.
Our characterful VW comes from Sweden, where it spent most of its life in a shed - hence the low mileage of 32,633 km in a car from 1965. The already mentioned patina is only a light coating of rust on the chrome and the top layers of paint (the sheet metal is healthy everywhere). The car is prepared for a driver who is looking for something unique and authentic, but at the customer's request, we can also prepare the car for a "competition".
If the external appearance gave any indication, the interior leaves no doubt - this copy has undergone a comprehensive renovation. The equipment is fully complete (a rarity in Beetles) and working (also a rarity in Beetles). Carefully trimmed with quilted leather, a perforated headliner and freshly installed carpet contrast perfectly with the slightly worn-out body-colored dashboard. In this edition, our Volkswagen is more luxurious than when it left the showroom ;)
The engine was disassembled, restored and reassembled by our specialists, and the engine compartment was refreshed
In addition to the above-mentioned elements, the chassis has undergone a comprehensive renovation (disassembled, sandblasted, powder coated), and the car has new suspension, braking, fuel and electrical systems,
Everything that's best about this Beetle is hidden deeper than the eye can see. Therefore, along with the car, we provide full photo documentation of the reconstruction and a set of original papers for the car.
