Hello I have for sale a Volkswagen Golf Mk1 Cabrio from 1979 (the first convertible) with a 3-speed automatic gearbox and a 70 HP engine with a capacity of 1.5 in gasoline. The car looks very beautiful, the paintwork is in good condition and the black fabric roof is tight and has no abrasions or cracks. I have owned the car for over 2 years and have done about 2,000 km with it, incl. for zlotys. As soon as I bought it, I did a complete timing and all filters and oils, also in the gearbox. The car during my tenure saw neither rain nor snow, it was garaged all the time. A year ago I installed a TaTechnix coilover suspension and the toe-in was set. The car is in very good condition for its age, it has no holes in the floor or sills or rust, the only thing is a few small bubbles on the paint somewhere around the side moldings that are not conspicuous. The two front seats were changed by the previous owner so they don't match the rear sofa, after they are trimmed it will be a great car for Sunday rides or for driving a young couple. The insurance is valid until December 26, 2023. The car is a great classic that will increase in value year after year, highly recommend!
