Seller's comments about 1973' Volkswagen Karmann Ghia
Hello, I am selling my Karmann Ghia, which I have owned for about 10 years. I am the second owner in Lithuania, the person before me completely restored the bodywork. The car looks very good, no rust. The car comes from the USA, sunny California, the floor panels are still standard. The biggest modifications I made: - SCAT gear stick (t-shifter). - Lowered front on adjusters and knuckles. - New front discs. - New transmission; - New bucket seats. (the mountings on the floor are unchanged, so there is no need to return to the series).- New spark plugs and wires.- Refurbished Bosch alternator;- Electric fuel pump;- Additional oil pan with filter from CB performance.- Oil temperature indicator VDO; about the engine: capacity 1776cc from MAHLE, 2 36mm Dellorto carburetors. The engine after a visit to the mechanic, all possible gaskets and oil seals replaced, the carburetors after adjustment. Works smoothly. MGThe main reason for selling is that with the enlargement of the family I would like to change to the Cucumber T2, offers are welcome (I already had a Beetle). The car is located in Vilnius. Transport possible upon arrangement.
