The Bełtowski Group has for sale: Volkswagen Scirocco I - a sports passenger car produced by the German automotive concern Volkswagen AG in the years 1974 - 1992. The name Scirocco was taken from the name of the Mediterranean wind Sirocco. The premiere of the vehicle was initially planned by the company's bosses together with the debut of the compact Golf. The task of the Scirocco was to fill the gap left by the discontinuation of the Karmann Ghia sports model. Both vehicles were built on a common platform and using common components. Unlike the Golf, the car has a sporty silhouette in a 3-door coupé body, which, like the Golf, was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro. The first official presentation of the vehicle took place in early 1974 in Wolfsburg. In March of the same year, the car was presented in Geneva. Initially, the vehicle was equipped only with a 1.5-liter petrol engine with a power of 85 HP. Then, an engine with a capacity of 1.1 liter and 50 HP, offered only in Europe, was introduced. In August 1975, the 1.5 engine was replaced by a larger 1.6 engine with a power of 75 HP, and a year later a GTI version was introduced with a power of 110 HP, achieved thanks to the K-Jetronic injection system from Bosch. In 1978, the vehicle's body was slightly restyled, the engine bearings and the steering gear were improved. In 1979, an engine with a capacity of 1.3 liters and a power of 60 HP was introduced. Our offer includes the largest collection of Beetles at various prices, as well as other car models and brands.
