Volkswagen Split Screen Camper, Genuine 1967 Westfalia SO42Right Hand Drive, imported in 2008 from the USA, owned since 2008 and always garaged, completely rot free, maintained regardless of cost, professionally converted to RHD with steering rack in 2008, 1600cc engine with rebuilt twin port carburettor, 12v rebuilt big cap distributer and ignition upgrade. Enjoyed and used during the summer months only, in more recent years the brakes have had a thorough overhaul including wheel bearings and seals and recent new clutch, All though not required, has always been Mot’d (I have all the certificates), in the 17yrs of ownership the vehicle has covered 10k trouble free miles. Exceptionally original throughout, nicely patinat’ed, exactly how the vehicles been kept, original paint inside and engine bay apart from the main vehicle side’s, roof all original paint. Original interior throughout (curtains replaced), still has the original brass S042 plate fitted, original canvas hammock bunk. Original fly screens, dining stool, truly lovely original example. This is a turn key go anywhere vehicle. Complete with both sets of keys and paperwork file dating back to 2008.
