1971' Volkswagen Variant

1600 twin carb. Previous show winner (Still got the trophies). Left hand drive Austrian Import. Odomoeter shows 33,795km, but I believe it's done closer to 70k.
This car has done very little mileage during our ownership and has only been driven occasionally on dry days. In the five years of our ownership, it has been kept garaged. It drives like new. The engine runs perfectly and is surprisingly nippy. The body is rust free and solid as a rock. It's been undersealed too.The interior is in great condition. Carpets are like new. The front seats have been replaced with tastefully recovered MX5 seats and seat belts have been fitted for extra safety. We still have the original front seats, which will come with the car, should anyone want to put them back. They are in good condition too. (The only reason we swapped them was because they're not the most comfortable!) The car comes with quite a good history file, plus some original handbooks. It also has some interesting original Austrian dealership badging, which looks great. It also has an offside auxillary parking light, which is quite unusual.
Viewings welcome and encouraged. Car will be sold with a full MOT.
I can only think of one little niggle. The door seals have seen better days. However, we've got a brand new replacement set. We just haven't got round to having them fitted.
You probably won't find a better example.
