Seller's comments about 1945' Willys Willys Jeep Ford Gpw
this is a very nice ww2 ford gpw jeep, with its original serial number and uk registration v5 , jeeps like this sell at classic car auctions for over £25000 +commission of around 10 % , on top of this the seller also has to pay fees of about 10% the buyer often has no chance to hear it running drive it or try it out , this jeep can be driven and intimately inspected on my 4 post ramp with no bidders fever or pressure to buy like at auction , It has its correct ww2 ford engine, the rust free body is a high quality all steel heritage style replacement and has been very well fitted , the chassis engine axles suspension and gearbox and wheels, all look original , the chassis is in excellent order with no welds or rust, just been through my workshop and had some fixes done, the jeep drives very nicely, many original fixtures and fittings have been retained when it was refurbished like brass screen catches gauges, hood bows, etc etc, has recently been fitted with a new braking system including corrosion proof copper nickel brake pipes , video of it driving can be sent , I would consider a part exchange with a cheaper jeep to renovate or something else considered
