1959' Wolseley 1500 Saloon

We are pleased to offer the lovely Wolseley to the market. Every now and then we are lucky to be offered cars such as this. Finished in its rare original colour of champagne beige with duo tone trim. The Wolseley was owned from new by a garage manager who used it sparingly for the first 9 months of its life. It was then sold to his secretary in January 1960, she kept the car until her death in 1979. Her daughter then kept the Wolseley garaged for the next 26 years finally recommissioning it in 2005. At this time it had only covered 34500 miles from new. It was then passed to a couple of Wolseley club members who carried out some further recommissioning including a cylinder head conversion to unleaded specification. The Wolseley today is presented in fine order as the pictures show. The mileage now stands at 53500. She comes with her original registration number complete with buff log book, original handbook and service voucher book, old mots certificates and parts receipts. The Wolseley runs and drives superbly with excellent oil pressure. The bodywork is presented very well and absolutely sound. The interior looks to be all original and in great order. New carpets and fur flex have been fitted that finishes it off well. This really is a lovely example that is ready to drive to the shows.
