We have available for sale (on behalf of my uncle) his magnificent 1933 Wolseley Hornet Daytona Sports. Built by Eustace and Watkins. 16hp OHV (2778cc) engine, with beautiful smooth gearbox. Presented in Racing green with beautiful darker green leather upholstery & fawn convertible hood. Full windscreen and also ‘Brooklands’ Aero screens fitted. Ahead of you is a set of beautiful high quality recently fully rebuilt in the UK instruments with the tachometer reading up to 6000RPM. 18” Wire wheels fitted shod with 5.50 x 18” quality tyres. Cycle wings & beautiful vented coachwork with outstanding charm. Much attention to detail has been kept to keep this car on the button and ready to go, recent full brake overhaul (2018) Dynamo & regulator converted to modern charging by UK company, new wiring loom fitted. These extremely special cars were very involved in early competition, racing/hill climbs etc. The current owner purchased the car (120663) from Jerry Besinger in Ohio whom purchased it from the son of the long term owner. Having being the custodian for over 15 years and an ageing owner of 81 years, it only seems right to pass the car onto the next custodian, it has been an absolute pleasure to own & use this car extensively, it has been on display at Amelia Island & other various shows in the US. A wonderful machine with an incredible turn of speed. The car is currently located in Virginia USA, but can be easily shipped worldwide at your expense (approximately £1200) to the EU.
