Seller's comments about 1932' Wolseley Hornet Special
The car was acquired as a barn find restoration project in the late 80s and over the next few years was mechanically and bodily restored/ refurbished. The result is a smart car with a nice patina and bags of character. In the course of the work the engine gearbox and back axle were all rebuilt to a high standard and the car has proved to be extremely reliable. The car was originally fitted with aeroscreens until a modified 30s Chriscraft speedboat windscreen was fitted preceeding a trip to France so that a hood could be fitted, it's amazing what unusual spares turn up when you live by the sea! Fun to own and drive , a few useful spares are included in the sale £20, 000 OVNO
