This example is Chassis No# 3 (VIN : WBAEE310301050003), built 2 months before official dealer delivery production commenced in October 1983 and retained by BMW GmbH as a factory marketing/press demo. 286bhp non-cat Euro spec. This is believed to be the oldest surviving Genuine M635CSi in the world today.

Just completed a full professional restoration (interior, exterior, engine bay, running gear, engine, gearbox and mechanicals). It is now offered to the market for sale from our Managing Directors personal collection.

Supplied complete with a BMW Classic Certificate. Brief History from production. Retained after production by the factory, (BMW Gmbh in Munich) for the first 3yrs of its life as a factory marketing / press demo before being sold to West German BMW dealer and film producer Rudolf Kalmowicz, of Erding in 1986. It was then exported to BMW Japan shortly after, where in 1987 it was fitted with Air Conditioning and "California" rear seat pack. It remained in Japan until 2009 before export to New Zealand.

A rust free and accident damage free body shell, and just completed an extensive Exterior Body, Running Gear, Suspension, Electrical and Mechanical restoration. On the correct OEM BBS Basket Weave Metric Alloy Wheels and Michelin TRX Tyres, and never used 635CSi
