Verkäuferkommentare zu 1962' Daimler Dart Sp250 Dart

For sale (with a heavy heart) my Daimler Dart. I'm the second owner, & have looked after her for 13 years. I purchased the car from a deceased estate, part restored. The works carried out by the previous owner were finished to an exceptional standard, & having a soft spot for SP250's (i'd owned 4 prior to this), i felt compelled to maintain the high level of workmanship. In testimony to the attention to detail, she has never failed to win shows wherever we've attended, notably at The Daimler Owner's Club stand at The Birmingham NEC, & various local events Wraysbury, Egham, & Bracknell shows.
The body was re-painted approximately 18 years ago in Jaguar Solent Blue, by a Rolls Royce & Bentley coach works company originally based in the Chalfonts, she was originally red. The quality of the finish is still as good to this day, & there are no signs of any gel coat crazing.
The engine was fully re-built as part of the restoration prior to my ownership. Both the gearbox & back axle we're perfectly serviceable, & consequently had oil seals/gaskets replaced & fresh oils. All of the running gear has been replaced/serviced as required.
The interior has been completely re-upholstered in contrasting magnolia leather & blue carpets. She is fitted with a matching, blue mohair hood.
All brightwork has been re-chromed. The wire wheels we're new when i took ownership, & were still covered in their protective wax, they still present as new to this day! The spare is also a wire wheel.
As stated, she is a two owner car. I have a limited history from the first period of ownership. I have the original buff log book, as well as the current V5. The speedometer was zero-ed whilst it was re-furbished during the restoration, hence the mileage shown, is the distance covered during my custody.
Please, genuine inquiries only. With the best of respect, i do not need to sell. I'm looking to move house & downsize, so have decided to consolidate my car collection. As much as i love my Dart, she doesn't get enough use, compared to my other cars. Hence it makes sense for me to find her a new home where she will be cherished & enjoyed! I have lots of additional photographs that i can email interested parties, & am flexible for viewings, as i'm retired.
