1940' Ford Coupe

This must be the finest example available anywhere in the world....You'll never get an oportunity like this again, certainly on this side of the Atlantic..

This car is totally correct and original in every aspect. Restored without compromise, using only original numbered Ford parts where necessary. The only non standard part is the exhaust silencer,which was bespoke manufactured in stainless to the exact specifications as the original.

Every part is correct & original '40 Henry Ford,even down to the appearance of the battery and the Ford stamped tyres..
You never find them like this. They all have had repro parts fitted..This doesn't.It even has the original keys .

The underneath of the car is totally correct in every way,even having the original running boards, and is as clean as the top half .

The car is well known to the Ford V8 Club and has won many shows when it attended.
When the car was purchased from the USA,it was subjected to a 100 point inspection by the V8 Club of America.. Their only negative comment was " why are we letting a car of this quality leave the USA ..."

The car has an interesting history.. Originally owned by a notorious moonshine runner from Georgia, it then became the property of a preacher, who took care of the car for over 30 years. It was then discovered on his premises,after his passing, and fastidiously restored,without compramise,over many years

The Opera Deluxe Coupe is very rare nowadays..Opera meaning it has fold down rear seats for extra passengers.

This car isnt cheap, and should only be sold to someone who will appreciate & cherish it,and enjoy being the latest custodian. Anyone who appreciates the work and dedication involved in restoring a car to this standard should be buying it. As they say in life, you get what you pay for..
