1959' Ford Zodiac

Ford zodiac mk2 , 1959 lowline, green and white. Mot exempt, 81,000 miles, purchased only 3 weeks ago, but unfortunately my husbands car has now decided to give up the ghost on us and the zodiac has to be sold to replace it. The zodiac drives very well and the only things I am aware of is the rear diff pinion seal is leaking so we have just ordered a replacement seal that is here ready for new owner to fit, also the speedometer needle flicks around but again we have a spare one which can be fitted. It has lots of original history ( see pics) with the car including a 1961 purchase receipt. The engine has a aquaplane triple carbs and branch manifold. Also the car is fitted with Overdrive but the "overdrive" bootscript is missing. The rear passenger door does not lock so that needed attention, and the drivers door side window needs replacing but there is a spare window ready to fit put in by the previous seller. The drivers side window winder also needs fitting properly, original leather seats are in good condition for there age but is a small tear in seam of leather which could easily be repaired. Log book shows two previous keepers since 1959, we were told the original owner had it over 50 years, when he died the son sold it to the previous owners, working radio, have never previously owned a classic car before so I can't answer many questions but feel free to come and view if interested. collection Milton Keynes £13,000 Ono.
