1968' Honda 800 S800 Convertible

The Honda S800 we are offering is a very rare cabriolet version that was first registered on June 10, 1968. The car was bought at the beginning of the 1990s by its current owner who had it completely restored and repainted at the time. The former owner was also from Lyon and had it from 1973, which adds to its splendid history. Originally red, it now has a becoming yellow paint job with a black top and a black leatherette interior. Cosmic Mkl wheels, a cover and a chrome luggage rack round out the cars additional accessories. The odometer was reset to zero after the restoration and since then it has been driven no more than 32,000 km (19,880 miles). The car was recently serviced several times, with work done to the exhaust system, and an electric ignition and ventilation fan were installed. A bit of emerging corrosion can be seen on the base of the body, but the car is nevertheless in excellent condition. The paint job is more than 20 years old but still has its lustre and so too does the chrome. The engine runs smoothly without any rough noises when revved. The future owner only needs a helmet to think he’s behind the wheel of a race car and let the engine revving of this small rocket take him away. This car is to be marvelled at, especially in a world where cars are becoming more and more sterile in their style.
