1946 Lanchester LD10 saloon ‘Phyllis’ Coachwork by Briggs Manufactured at the Daimler works at Basford Coventry 1286cc OHV engine Wilson Preselect gearbox The car was returned to the factory for a heater to be fitted following the hard winter of 1947! The LD10 model was intended for the 1940 market and 2 cars were prepared for the 1939 motor show before this was cancelled due to the war. There are 26 survivors of this model although Phyllis is unique in having a metallic blue dashboard and window trims. Owned from 1992 and completely restored between 1992 and 1995. Showing 85000 miles which is believed to be genuine.
