Cruisin Classics is proud to present this remarkable 1955 Lincoln Capri, a true single-family survivor showing just 17,784 actual miles. Originally gifted by a Dayton, Ohio Lincoln-Packard dealer to his daughter in 1955, this luxury cruiser remained in the same family, stored across decades, until recently being recommissioned into a smooth-running, road-worthy driver. It has never undergone a full restoration, preserving its authentic 1950s character.
Exterior: Finished in its factory-original Sunstone Yellow with an Ermine White top. While showing honest patina, minor paint chips, and light pitting on the brightwork, the body presents well. Features include aircraft-inspired hood ornamentation, knights crest badging, wrap-around chrome bumpers with dagmars, fender skirts, and steel wheels with Lincoln hubcaps wrapped in Coker Classic wide whitewalls. A period trailer hitch is mounted beneath the rear bumper.
Drivetrain & Mechanicals: Powered by a original-style 5.6L 341ci V8 equipped with a 4-barrel carburetor, gold Lincoln V-Eight valve covers, and an added electric pusher fan for reliable cooling. The V8 pairs with a Turbo-Drive 3-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and 4-wheel power drum brakes.
Interior: Highly original tri-tone yellow, white, and black cabin. Features original aged leather bench seating, working power windows, a tight white headliner, and a crack-free two-spoke steering wheel.
