1968' Lotus Elan +2

For sale my 1968 Lotus elan +2,it has the black badge,which I believe is acknowledgement of Jim Clark who died in 1968.I bought the car in December 2004,it was restored in 2000.Since I have owned the car it has been regularly serviced and M.O.T.'d initially by Paul Matty garages and then by a local classic car specialist.During my ownership it has been subject to a number of improvements,a major overhaul in 2008 by Paul Matty garages,which included;stainless steel exhaust,electronic ignition,thermostatically controlled radiator cooling fan,fitted new front discs,replace starter motor,all mountings,rubbers and seals replaced.Tacho and speedo reconditioned which is why the mileage is recorded as 9,670.Tony Thompson solid u.j. drive shafts fitted.All the the work carried out has been fully documented.
The car is not concourse,but it is a very well presented example of this classic lotus,as can be seen in the photographs.I believe the car is realistically priced to enable a classic lotus enthusiast to enjoy owning, and most importantly driving,a reliable and smooth running example of this model, as I have for many happy years.Please contact me if any further information needed.
