Beautiful MGB GT 1.8l 1978 in British racing green, selling due to the costs of moving house. GOOD Points: Desirable rubber bumper model, hard top in classic British racing green. All important & rare working overdrive in 3rd & 4th gear. Working radiator & interior heating system (I think Toms knob requires unblocking, but I can’t work out how), leaded car runs fine on super unleaded fuel. Either already or very close to being tax & mot exempt (gov.uk states MOT due 5th June 2019). Rostyle wheels + spear wheel in boot, Black leather seats, MG sports steering wheel, black interior carpet. CD player & one rear lap belt. Extensive service history (box of paperwork/receipts) with this well maintained & looked after British classic. Original engine with upgrades of electric starter & braided clutch hose. A fine starter hot & cold, which runs smooth & I always allow engine to warm up before driving off. Full service in June 2018 with all mot advisories rectified, inc new exhaust manifold to rectify oil leak. In Feb 2019, fixed alternator & new battery. The MG’s is solid underbelly structure & protected by what looks like waxoyl. Bad Points: Rear seat bench front corner leather wear. Expected with a classic car of this age a few body work descrepancies. None really noticeable till up close, all rectifyable at a minimal cost to a skilled owner or body shop to continue the maintenance of this loved 40 year old classic, only adding huge value. Contact me for more details (I have several more pics), booked viewings welcome. Cash on collection, sold as seen.
