MK1 MGBGT registered on 11 April 1967. Correct front wings, alloy bonnet, narrow tunnel car in tartan Red. Original green logbook and history back to 1971
The last owner bought the car 26 years ago on the 31st of October 1992.
The car was fully restored in 1998 and from then was fastidiously serviced and maintained on an annual basis. During this time (2009) a 1950cc Oselli stage 2 engine, lightened and balanced flywheel was fitted along with 123 ignition plus a refurbished gear box with overdrive. After market classic black reclining seats have been fitted for comfort with new chrome wire wheels and the webasto sunroof has been refurbished.
The ride and handling are exceptional, and the engine is very smooth as is the gearbox and the overdrive cuts in smoothly and quickly. The car comes with a very comprehensive history file and had a full-service costing £750 along with a new MOT in May 2019, which runs out on the 7th of May 2020.
Any inspection welcome.
Would consider post 1999 MGF VVC or TF as a part exchange
